Dawn and Peter opened their first retail warehouse in Stroud back in 1988. It wasn’t long before they needed more space, so they added another storage facility. As the business grew, they soon outgrew their original site. After much thought, they decided to move to a larger “out of town” location with plenty of parking. In April 1997, they opened their flooring superstore, and from day one, it went from strength to strength.

Daughter Christie joined the family business in the early 2000s, driving further expansion. In 2020, her husband Neal came on board, bringing valuable expertise from his corporate sales background and modernising the company.

Carpet Hotline’s core policy has always remained the same, CUSTOMER SERVICE, and meeting their customers needs and expectations. Many of their customers both commercial and domestic have been with them for up to 40 years often becoming firm friends in the process.

With their policy of friendly, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and helpful service, this family run business continues to grow from strength to strength.

At Carpet Hotline Superstore we are proud to give back by supporting our local community. We’re proud sponsors of the Rodborough YFC Under 11 Raptors, Stroud Rugby Club, Brimscombe & Thrupp FC, and Shortwood United FC.

We also support our local schools and charities such as the Eastcombe Gnome Hunt, Bussage Bear Hunt, and have donated raffle prizes to Brimscombe School. Additionally, we are proud to have donated carpets to Barnardo’s charity.
